Posting Lookup Values Jim Orrison 14:41:34
The Northwind sample database Orders form and subform queries perform a lookup on the unit price and post it to the orders detail table. Even though I have emulated these two forms through form wizard using the same queries I cannot get the subform to display nor post the unit price to the detail table. Bouncing back and forth between the sample form and my new form shows in the open table record that the sample form still posts the unit price while my form entry shows only the value 0.00. Is there some code running in the background that does not appear as an obvious underlying step I am missing? I have used this sample in my own database with the same disappointing results and am trying to set up a customer order/invoicing form.
